Karaoke 4 Kids TEKS-based after school enrichment program is AFTERSCHOOL ROCKSTAR*, which is both FUN and EDUCATIONAL. It would be a great addition to your after school enrichment program, child care center, or summer camp. AFTERSCHOOL ROCKSTAR* promotes creativity and confidence within students by making it fun to get up in front of others and perform. We engage students with active learning strategies and we also teach social skills while trying to reach individual educational and performance goals. AFTERSCHOOL ROCKSTAR* is designed for preschool through 6th grade students and each class will include at least one game, activity, or craft, TEKS-based instruction in Music and Language Arts, and plenty of performing time. We have three different six-week sessions that can be offered separately or all together to make it a complete semester-long experience. Students will conquer stage fright, keep a ROCKSTAR* journal, and record CD’s. They will set goals and then accomplish them!
